Make sure you fill out the Immigration form before you get to the Detroit Airport.Find both it and the instructions in the app!

Travel day itinerary:
Meet at CU to board Bus  to Detroit:2:00 a.m.
Arrive at Detroit airport 4:15 a.m.

At the airport We must go through the desk as a group . Follow these instructions:
1. Steve Anderson with FSI will be in Front - Your  Coach be at the back -
2. Everyone will need to be in line to check passports and get paper boarding pass  one at a time at the desk with Steve
(YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE UNITED APP for your ticket DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE GROUP)
3. Once the group is through the United desk they can start to go through security and everyone meets on the other side of security together then goes to the gate.  At this point you can put your confirmation in the united app if you like.
4. REMEMBER:
  1. Through the airport. make sure you have your passport in hand
  2. If you are under 21, have your papers for customs ready - This will ONLY be for departure out of HONDURAS.

Personal Item: One smaller item like a purse, briefcase, or laptop bag that fits under the seat in front of you.  No weight restriction (most routes): Generally, there are no weight restrictions for carry-on bags on Delta flights, except for certain international destinations.

  • Large garbage bags (for wet/dirty clothes)
  • Bug repellent (checked bag)

  • Wet wipes / Hand sanitizer (check back if you bring larger quantity)
  • Deodorant
  • Toiletries (Towels and bed linens are provided)
  • Water bottle
  • Hat / Bandanna
  • Tylenol / Ibuprofen
  • Personal snacks (checked bag)
  • Phone & charger
  • Debit/credit card (for personal purchases or snacks in the U.S.
Clothing
  • Clean clothes for each day - for hanging out, touring, 1 set up church close ( sun dress, slacks like you would wear in the US), Volleyball uniforms or close.
  • Underwear, socks
  • Shoes for walking/working (tennis shoes recommended) also sandals are good for around the hotel
  • Light rain jacket
  • Church Attire: If needed
    • Men: Pants/shorts & golf shirt (business casual with tennis shoes or sandals)
    • Women: Sundress or nice shorts/shirt

Health & Weather
  • Tetanus shot: encouraged but not required (ensure it’s up to date but not required)
  • Temperatures: Upper 80’s during the day, 70s at night -prepare for some rain
