Friendship Sports is joining ides.org and Cornerstone University for the 5th annual Pack the House - 2025

Pack the House for Hunger
Basketball. Community. Lasting Impact.
Pack the House for Hunger is an annual Friendship Sports International (FSI) event at Cornerstone University that brings students, local businesses, churches, and community partners together to fight hunger. Through basketball, fundraising, and hands-on service, our community helps provide nutritious meals and share the hope of Jesus with people around the world.
This year’s event takes place on November 3 at 7:00 p.m., as the Cornerstone Golden Eagles women’s basketball team takes on Grace Christian. Our goal is to raise funds for 60,000 meals for people facing hunger in Liberia through the International Disaster Emergency Service (IDES) GAP—God Always Provides—food relief program.
The impact continues beyond the basketball court. On November 9, from 3:00–6:00 p.m., volunteers will gather at Cornerstone University to pack meals for distribution through missionaries serving in Liberia.
A History of Hope
Through our partnership with IDES, previous meal-packing efforts have provided:
  • 2023: 30,000 meals for Afghanistan
  • 2024: 50,000 meals for Ukraine
  • 2025: 50,000 meals for the Philippines
  • 2026: 50,000 meals for Honduras
Together, these efforts have provided 180,000 meals to communities facing food insecurity. This year, we’re building on that history to extend practical care and hope to people in Liberia.
