Partner With Us
Would you consider helping with funding? All donations go to offset ministry costs in Honduras, support staff, and supplies. We strive to keep costs down for our young student athletes. Please pray for us as we embark on an amazing summer of engagement.
Our goal is to grow our budget by $6,000 this year
Donate TodayInspirata Foundation Partnership in Honduras
We are grateful for our partnership with Scott and Mimi Crook and the Inspirata Foundation. Scott and Mimi were there at the beginning of FSI's journey to Honduras in the mid-1990s, and we continue to deepen our partnership as they have built a ministry of their own.
As owners of the Humuya Inn hotel, with years of serving teams and living in Honduras, they will be leading our CU men's and women's soccer teams while in Honduras alongside their daughters. Learn more at InspirataFoundation.com.
We are also excited to meet with a new partner, HIS EYES, a ministry in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Matt's Ministry Updates
Ball State Ministry Connection
Matt recently traveled to Muncie, Indiana, to support the launch of former player and FSI vision trip alumna Olivia Flores as she began her ministry on the campus of Ball State, while her husband Dyago works at Indiana Wesleyan University. Matt had the privilege of officiating their marriage last year. Please pray for this amazing couple as they serve the Christ in discipleship ministries on their campuses.
Preaching & Teaching
Throughout the semester, Matt has led Bible studies and spoken about his recent book, "In the Zone" - a great devotional about wrestling with nuance in the faith. Matt has also had many opportunities to teach and preach at his church, Relevant Church Grand Rapids where he serves as a volunteer teaching pastor.
"In the Zone" by Matt Wallace
Where Tension Builds Grit and Faith Grows Deep
What if true discipleship isn't about avoiding tension - but embracing it? Matt's devotional explores how the biblical tensions we often misunderstand (Grace and Truth, Joy and Suffering, Faith and Works) are not contradictions but the very keys to a wholehearted life with God. If you haven't got a copy yet, you can purchase it on Amazon using the QR code shown above.
Courage Over Clarity
Along with our campus ministry, we created an on-demand Bible study called "Courage Over Clarity" that released in January on the FSI App. This 21-day study through Hebrews 11 had over 600 participants in January across 3 different campuses and multiple churches. Currently, we have a Matthew study going weekly through the app.
The Bible study we have on our app is called "The Burn" - after Luke 24 and Jesus's walk on the road to Emmaus. Check it out by learning more on the app.

AIA Partnership at Grand Valley State
Speaking at GVSU AIA
Matt was honored to share at the Grand Valley State University Athletes in Action gathering at the Hosford Football Center, where he had the opportunity to introduce the "Courage Over Clarity" study with GV AIA alongside CU softball player Kaitlyn Cain!
Jamaica Vision Trip & Growing Partnership
Steve Anderson, an FSI board member, has been leading the ministry at Grand Valley State University and building the FSI relationship there - especially when it comes to vision trips.
In March 2026, FSI supported and facilitated a Grand Valley AIA team trip to Jamaica. It was an amazing trip, and we continue to grow our footprint and engagement with that ministry on the campus of GVSU.
We are also developing a trip to Honduras in August with Steve in the lead. Please pray for this new vision trip as it takes shape!
Unified Sports Night at Cornerstone
FSI also sponsored and made possible the 2nd Annual Unified Sports Night at Cornerstone University. During and after the women's basketball game, unified sports athletes from nearby high schools played, were honored, and spent the evening with CU athletes getting autographed posters and enjoying pizza together.
