You're Invited: A Celebration of Jim & Jenny King

On behalf of Friendship Sports International, we are excited to invite your to a celebration of ministry for Jim and Jenny King with there time at FSI. .

Gary and I were both deeply shaped by Jim and Jenny King. We spent countless hours learning alongside them, studying with them, and building relationships that changed the course of our lives — our marriages, our kids, our careers. We know we're not alone in that, and that's why we want to celebrate them well.

For over 30 years, Jim and Jenny have poured their lives into ministry and service. They've led over 120 teams to Honduras — sports teams and work teams alike — and helped build Camp Monte de Santidad, a church camp in the village of La Venta Honduras, that has shared the gospel with thousands. They've helped build churches. Stateside, they've led premarital and marriage counseling, coached sports, opened their home for Bible studies, hosted dozens of folks from out west, and encouraged more people than we could ever count.

If your life has been touched by this ministry — whether you were on a team in the early days or got to know Jim and Jenny more recently — we'd love for you to join us for an afternoon of connection, fellowship, and reflection together.

We chose this date, time, and place to coincide with Taylor University's Homecoming, since so many of the teams and friendships that built this ministry trace back to Taylor and Upland. But this invitation is for everyone the Kings have touched, whenever that was.

Please RSVP using the link below if you plan to attend. There's no cost to attend — though if you'd like to make a donation toward event costs or contribute to a gift for Jim and Jenny, that option will be available.
Thinking of making it a full weekend?  Click the Taylor link below for more on Taylor's Homecoming events.

We can't wait to celebrate Jim and Jenny with you.
