For the next few days, you have an opportunity that many couples rarely experience: space.
Space away from schedules. Space away from work. Space away from responsibilities. Space away from the constant noise of everyday life.
The goal of this retreat is not simply to get away. The goal is to re-engage—with God, with your spouse, and with the purpose God has for your marriage.
Throughout Scripture, we see a pattern in the life of Jesus. Again and again, He withdrew to what the Gospels call the Eremos—a quiet place, a wilderness place, a place away from the crowds.
Jesus would retreat to pray. Jesus would retreat to rest. Jesus would retreat to gain perspective. Jesus would retreat before major decisions and after demanding seasons of ministry. If Jesus needed intentional times away to reconnect with the Father, how much more do we?
Marriage is no different.
Healthy marriages are not built merely through good intentions. They are built through intentional connection, honest conversations, shared experiences, and regular moments of renewal.
Over the next six devotions, you will walk through a progression:

Disconnect from the noise and reconnect with God.

Learn to be fully present with God and one another.

Grow in listening, understanding, and speaking life.
4. Grace — Heal
Practice forgiveness and extend the grace you’ve received from Christ.
5. Pursuit — Grow
Continue choosing, pursuing, and delighting in one another.
6. Covenant — Recommit
Renew your commitment before God and celebrate His faithfulness.
