CU WBB-Guatemala Update 7/5/22
Hello team! As I type, we are 33 days away from departure! Plans are coming together in Guatemala for our arrival! Below is a devotional podcast, and some updates and information I wanted to share with you. You will get similar updates each week leading up to the trip.
Donations/Fundraising Update: Our goal is to raise $25,000 to meet the budget for this trip. Currently, we have raised $13,184.00. We still need to raise roughly $11, 816.00. We are over the 1/2 way point which is awesome. Keep reaching out to your family and friends, local businesses, and churches! Remember, amounts over $400 are best sent by check and anything under can be done online.
Airfare and luggage Update: I recommend in the near future downloading the United app on your phone. You should be able to type in the confirmation # F471CL and then your last name (except Maddie and Mackenzie who have their info). I will also be sending you emails soon with your e-ticket number if that doesn’t work. This will keep you up to date on any flight changes, luggage requirements, and paperwork needed (passports and licenses). As you may have heard, there have been lots of flight delays, cancellations, and luggage challenges. First off, pray for our team in this. Secondly, If any of you that are local and combine to share a check-in bag, that would be beneficial due to that challenge and cost of luggage.
